ANOLAWIZ (Pty) Ltd was founded by Mr AJ (Deon) Holder. The company brings together professionals from diverse backgrounds who have worked across construction, architecture, finance, petroleum and commodities.
Anolawiz began operations in the diesel and petroleum sector, partnering with a major international refinery, and expanded into the buying and selling of commodities including coal and oil-related products. Today the company offers integrated services across the petroleum sector, commodities, financial services and, critically, capital infrastructure project management.
Through its network of specialist associates and partners, Anolawiz is positioned to structure, fund and deliver major infrastructure works — including roads, housing and related capital projects — while maintaining the highest standards of governance, safety and commercial discipline.

Deon is an entrepreneur and former architect with over 24 years’ experience in construction. He has managed multiple housing developments and similar capital projects, combining design insight with hands-on project delivery capability.
He has travelled extensively across Africa for five years buying and selling commodities. Over the past seven years he has focused on the petroleum sector, selling D2 50 ppm diesel wholesale in South Africa and internationally (including Russia and Rotterdam), where he entered the oil business trading various petroleum products.
His leadership, commercial networks and construction background make him a cornerstone of Anolawiz’s ability to structure and deliver complex projects.
Gareth is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with extensive experience leading multi-million rand development projects across multiple institutions in South Africa.
His financial and commercial acumen underpins Anolawiz’s approach to project structuring, funding arrangements, risk management and governance. He brings rigorous financial discipline to capital infrastructure and development opportunities, ensuring projects are bankable, compliant and commercially sound.
As a Director of Anolawiz, Gareth plays a central role in the evaluation, structuring and oversight of major projects and partnerships.
Anolawiz has expanded its mandate to manage and deliver capital infrastructure projects. Drawing on the construction and architectural experience of its leadership, and working through a network of specialist associates (including road construction specialists), the company is able to structure, fund and execute significant infrastructure works.
This includes roads and special maintenance projects, housing developments, and related capital works. Projects are approached with full commercial, technical and financial review so that delivery is both executable and profitable for all parties involved.
Anolawiz acts as the coordinating and executing entity — bringing together technical delivery partners, project finance and the necessary governance and compliance frameworks required by public- and private-sector clients.
